Hello, I am interested in obtaining a job in the accounting or customer care department of a business or service that is either within a 20 minute commute from where I am located in Burlingto, NC or remote. I have over 19 years experience working in accounting/customer services and have my associates degree in liberal arts with a focus in accounting from 6/2006. This in combination with my experience makes me a great candidate for a position within your organizatio.

I have worked in accounting most of my life. Most recently in the home improvement industry and also the technical repair/security system installation business where I worked as an office manager and bookkeeper. Right after COVID pandemic I started working for a small company doing cold calling to set sales leads for windows/gutter(s)/roofing/cabinetry repair etc and quickly earned the title of employee of the month only 2 months after starting there and always making my sales goals.

Also, I have a medical and education background as well. I’ve worked for both a Vascular Surgeon and Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center as a medical assistant and medical biller/coder. I also worked at the School Board as a bookkeeper in the instructional department and was responsible for payroll using AS-400 and reading grant money acquired by the assistant superintendent for the payment of teachers weekly.

Prior to this role I worked for Masonite Corporation in Accounting as A/P clerk. There they were using SAP accounting software to pay ALL (PO and non purchase order) 30 day old payables or invoices incurred. I am also experienced with Quickbook, Sage accounting software and Microsoft suite including Excel and Word.

I’m happy to have had the opportunity to learn several CRM systems like Salesforce, MarketSharp, Podium and Company Cam throughout my career In the administration/clerical field.

Currently working on my bachelor degree in Health and Human Services at UNC-Greensboro. I attended the University last in 2013. Also, I have an associate degree in liberal arts w/a focus in accounting from Danville Community College in 6/2006.
