Provide direct patient care to emergency and trauma cases.

Assistant Clinical Manager, Maternity Services

Report to Clinical Manager; perform interviews.
Provide staff education and staff development; run staff meetings.
Provide direct patient care, assessment, and relationship-based care.
Develop NASH Plan to fit budget and unit staffing needs.
Complete payroll and create schedules for staff; perform chart audits; prepare unit for ODH and JACHO visits.
Display commitment to mission and vision of the hospital.
Initiate and maintain positive relationship with staff and patients.
Write protocols and assist surgical operations team.
Attend Risk Management meetings and assist in development of root cause analysis.

Work with the Midwifery team to develop a process related to Doula program.

Reviewed, analyzed, and evaluated medical records and issues pertaining to the litigation process - Detailed research on pertinent standards of care, causation, and damages - Identification of appropriate medical or medical-related experts - Education of attorneys and others involved in the legal process on medical facts and literature - Prepared and updated medical chronologies and summaries for depositions, mediations, and trials - Participated in communication with experts and attorneys during medical case review.
