Tami Mason

I am a jack of all trades and workhorse, a quick learner, and come with a large breadth of experience. I can perform proficiently and independently in any position I am assigned to. I can be great for last minute fill-in or large events when more staff is needed. I have worked large outdoor special events as busser, server, set-up, take-down, coordinator, bar server, bar back, and director. I don’t wait to be told what to do, I look forward to what needs to be done and get it done. Anticipating needs is a must in customer service-oriented business. I am a passionate trainer and facilitator, and can create engaging training for any subject.

My main job has been working as a detective and investigating Internet crimes against children, which required the ability to learn and adjust rapidly. I have also worked a banquet server and busser for a temporary company as something fun to do. Every place I worked as a temp wanted to hire me full time. I have volunteered as a bartender or beverage server at retirements and other private parties. During my tenure at my current police department, I have conducted extensive training programs, supervised officers, investigated misconduct, managed large-scale projects, wrote district and department policies and procedures, and proposed numerous changes to procedures to enhance officer safety and community protections. I created the district‘s emergency response plans in compliance with federal and state standards.

There is nothing I cannot do, and I learn so quickly that I rapidly become a go-to person for anything needed doing.
