Hi, I am a seasoned chef with over 20,000 hours in the kitchen. I am a very picky pescatarian. I love people. I love cooking for people. I love to create awesome recipes. I enjoy teaching people how to cook. I have had an extraordinary 34 year career in many aspects of the food and beverage industry. I currently spend most of my time in Puerto Vallarta which is where I am applying for the job ( although I am based in Chicago).
I have spent thirty four years in several aspects of the food and beverage industry. First I was in sales, selling everything direct from the manufacturer to the end user ( Supermarkets). We sold shelf-stable products and skipped distribution and focused on in-and-out food promotions.
After eleven years I wanted to become a restauranteur. I did that for the next seven years. During this time I discovered my brainchild, NOoodle. I founded NOoodle, a CPG plant-based food company. I did this for almost thirteen years until my largest competitor bought the only factory( besides their own) making this type of noodle made from a yam plant and 97% water.
Today I am a plant-based Chef and I am a leader in the future of food. I believe food is the medicine we will continue to look for in the future. Thank you in advance for your consideration, Chef Terri Rogers
