I myself am diagnosed with autism and I want to dedicate my life to helping those who struggle with disabilities during adolescence because I feel like I have a better understanding of their struggles. I feel like it is something where I can really accomplish something and make the world a better place and improve people's lives.
I worked with college students at Brightpoint community college who suffer from disabilities such as autism to help them adapt to college life. It involved helping them study, organize and plan, adjust to college social life, and get comfortable with their new environment.
I completed and graduated high school in the summer of 2024, and I started attending Brightpoint community college but dropped out after a few weeks due to feeling like I was wasting my time there and I was only delaying my time before entering the workforce fulltime.
