Ascension has the Sitecore for backend changes and configurations and front end application where it display all the providers for the Hospital locations and Departments. The application allows to show all the providers in find care screen for hospital Ministry pages, departments and DCMC locations.
- Develop test plans & detailed test cases from functional product requirements and design specification documents to ensure testing adheres to established company processes.
- Evaluate and provide input on functional product requirements and design specifications during test planning stages of software development life cycle.
- Analyzing requirements with Business Analyst, Development Team and Solution Architect and Business application product owner to understand business flow
- Provide Subject matter expertise in Test Estimation and Test Execution for Testing
- Test Coordination and Test Execution of System Integration Testing, Database Testing and End to End testing for application involving test orders, resulting, reporting and billing.
- Prepare the test cases as per the JIRA tickets and execute location details pages – verify the provider promo is displayed on the specified locations.
- Perform regression testing on UAT for the stories completed in sprint and provide production support.
QA - Quest Diagnostics

- Execution of Functional test cases derived from business requirement specification, change requests and production fixes.
- Perform API testing for request response validation using SoapUI/Postman at the Web Service layer.
- Analyze the autostack rules applied to the group/unit codes for each order, run the stability and productivity report for all the sorted/binded and wanded accessions.
- Ensure the database connectivity with the values passed in the front-end applications.
- Perform End-to-End Integration testing of Order Entry to Result processing to Billing to reporting applications to ensure smooth performance of the Quest Diagnostics integrated applications such as Quest Direct, IDAA, QLS, & QDRS.
- Understand various Clients reporting formats like Image, Discrete, Image bill or Hybrid. Discrete formats are TOPNET records and have to be validated with the standard HL7 messages.
- Execute smoke tests after new code is deployed to verify build stability and isolate immediate showstoppers.
- Verify the SJC referral testing specimen order send out-Creating the Accession, Worksheet Wanding, Generate Worksheets, Order code Inquiry, Patient inquiry with accession, Audit /result, Client Inquiry, QDRS reporting.
- Validation of Sunquest Instrument interfaces –creating the accessions, building the worklists, placing the export file in the instrument folder and verifying results in the QDID (Quest Diagnostics Infectious Disease) application.
- Prepare the validation report that includes the assay information and instrument names. All samples processed in the tested worklists will be accessioned in the application. The results in the instrument result file are then verified to match those uploaded to QDID (Quest Diagnostics Infectious Disease) application.
- Any issues related to middleware have to be verified in QDIB tool which fetch the HL7, V3 health record transactions.
- Validations report documents to be submitted in smart solve for post approval with the attachment of completed testing. Validation of file based interfaces such as TAQMAN, Flexmap and LPS (Laboratory Production System) based interfaces such as Trek 2 and Trek 3.
- Verify the QDRS (Quest Diagnostics reporting Service) reports from direct clients for the test codes where the results are amended in SJC LIS (San Juan Capistrano laboratory information system). Verify in SJC (San Juan Capistrano) application where the creating the Accession and referral testing specimen/orders are sent out to other Labs
- Service validations using SOAP UI/Postman to improve the test coverage.
- Execute Test Automation Suite when the new build or release is deployed in production or non-production environment.
- Continuous Specimen Sorting System project is developed to standardize the sorting and load building process at Esoteric Business Unit San Juan Capistrano (SJC),Focus, Chantily and Valencia sites , CSSS automates sorting of approximately 2000 test codes to 600 pre -determined sort locations. Validate the webservices and create the orders with the test codes to receive them in the Laboratory and validate the productivity and stability reports.
- Contribute to the integrity of the test plans, test data, test environment, and coordination with support areas for specific projects using tools QAC, Clarity and Rally.
- HL7 Message & Cache Database testing for Inbound & Outbound Interfaces for Quest laboratory system with other integrated applications.
- Validating Intersystem Cache database through Global verification for data flow in Quest Diagnostics systems like QLS, QDRS, QMPS & IDAA systems, patient records, lab results and client reports.
- Troubleshooting issues related to data transfer between different Quest Diagnostics systems like QLS, QDRS, QMPS & IDAA systems applications by verifying the inbound /outbound HL7 files in QDIB tool.
QA - Advantasure
(2019-12 - 2023-02)
Advantasure partnered with healthcare clients to simplify their operations. Within core administration this project will focus on following business and technology process areas like Enrollment, Claims, Billing. Integration Services.
- Participate in effort estimate for the user stories for claims, enrollment and billing.
- Design the test strategy for upgrading to all 120 servers and define the in scope and out of scope, test execution phases, risks and mitigation, test deliverables.
- Identify the test environment for regression testing, System testing for Advantasure products
