Veronica Magaña

I am an experienced Intake Specialist with over eight years of service at Placer County, providing comprehensive support to individuals and families involved in public service systems. My work has included delivering direct services to families in the system, individuals who are chronically unhoused, and clients with co-occurring disorders and severe mental illness.

I have extensive experience assisting clients with housing searches, connecting them to healthcare and financial services, providing financial counseling, and offering parent time coaching, including supervising parent time for families in the system. I routinely document all client interactions and ensure accurate, timely recordkeeping.

My role requires managing high volumes of administrative tasks, including phone calls, faxing, lobby walk-in help desk support, and filing documents across multiple online systems such as CMIPS (state system), OnBase, and Excel spreadsheets. I am detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Additionally, I provide bilingual services in Spanish, including client support and document translation, to better serve diverse communities.
