I have a vast amount of experience in IT Infrastructure and due to corporate company acquisitions in early 2000, two colleagues and I started our own service-based IT company in 2007. At that stage we were part of several take-overs and decided that with the combined IP and skillset, we can generate our own prospects and ultimately career path. I fulfilled the role of an onsite Systems Engineer at Visa who acquired a mobile money company in Cape Town.
I was one of the key people to build a new data center for Visa, Cape Town and managed the infrastructure of it.
After nine years (2016), Visa decided to move the development to India and subsequently close the South African presence. I sold my ownership in our company and changed career between 2017-2024 after which I rejoined Global Synapse. Currently I am a Team Manager (contracted via Global Synapse) for one of the Sigma Connected sites.
I am eagerly looking to relocate to Dubai and apply myself again in the infrastructure arena which is still my strong skill (Management). My son holds a senior position with YAP in Dubai and has been a resident for the last 5 years. I visited Dubai end of 2025 and is familiar with the geographics.
