Graduate Continuous Improvement Engineer at ALC Corp (Pty) Ltd (2026-01 – Present)
I manage and execute continuous improvement projects while overseeing a production line and team of 18 employees, ensuring operational targets are achieved efficiently and profitably. My role involves coordinating across departments to maintain accurate product specifications, supporting production readiness through the CST process, and developing work instructions and process documentation in line with GMP and BRCGS standards. I am also involved in trials and new product development, with a focus on process flow, production requirements, and layout development and optimisation.
Through these responsibilities, I have gained experience in resource management, production planning, cross-functional communication, and identifying and implementing opportunities for operational improvement.
Engineering Student (Vacation Work) at ALC Corp (Pty) Ltd (2023-01 – 2024-12)
Along with two other engineering students, we were tasked to improve the current layout of their facility and production. A recommendation report was compiled and presented to the management team at ALC Corp.
