I am writing to express my interest in a Commis Chef position within your establishment. I am a recent Diploma graduate in Food & Beverage Hospitality Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and I am eager to contribute my culinary skills and passion for hospitality to your team.

During my studies, I completed four months training in pastry kitchen at One&Only Cape Town, Where I gained hands-on experience in pastry production, dessert presentation and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene in a luxury hotel environment. This experience strengthened my attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to excellence.

I also completed five months in-service training within the catering department at Woolworths Head Office. There, I assisted with large-scale food preparation, menu execution, stock control, and maintaining food safety standards. Working in a fast-paced corporate kitchen environment enhanced my teamwork, time management, and consistency in food production.

I am highly motivated, reliable, and passionate about delivering quality dishes that contribute to exceptional guest experiences. I am confident that my training, practical experience, and strong work ethic would make me a valuable addition to your culinary team.
