My career began at 14 working on Under18 festivals with Pure Productions, giving me early exposure to event coordination and brand promotion. Au Pair - Cultural Care Au Pair

In this role, I was responsible for ensuring a structured routine, assisting with academic tasks, providing punctual and safe transportation as well as childcare related household responsibilities. Through this experience, I developed strong organizational, time-management and communication skills while fostering meaningful relationships with the family I supported. I decided to become an au pair not only for the opportunity to travel abroad and immerse myself in a cultural exchange, but also, to give myself the opportunity to further my education and pursue my passion for event management, PR and Design.

Community Manager (Full-time) - Whatif Creative Pty Ltd

My role as Community Manager extended far beyond social media. I managed social media platforms, customer service, and strategy support for brands including Country Fresh and Gelata Roma SA, while collaborating with creative teams and assisting with media budget planning. I coordinated branding and production projects for leading brands such as Dairymaid, Tastic Rice, Fatti's & Moni's, Beacon, and L'Oréal.

I also supported account management for Tiger Brands SA, tracked agency finances, managed supplier and client payments, and assisted senior leadership with scheduling, meetings, office operations, and administrative tasks. In addition, I managed client events and charity initiatives, including Rise Against Hunger for Tastic Rice SA. Through the agency's sister company, WiComms, I managed a zero-rated platform, handled user support and tracking, and liaised with major South African networks including Telkom, MTN, Vodacom, and Cell C.

This role strengthened my ability to manage multiple projects, build strong stakeholder relationships, and support business operations across various functions.

Bartender (Part-Time) - Quench Mobile Bars

Worked at major festivals and events across South Africa, including Prime Fest and the Volkswagen T-Cross launch, serving thousands of guests in fast-paced environments. In my role as a Brand Ambassador and Hostess, I represented premium alcohol brands such as Haig ClubWhiskey and Tanqueray Gin, providing consumers with in-depth product knowledge and brand history. My responsibilities included setting up and executing weekly activations at local venues, approaching consumers who watched the brand's target audience and promoting the products to enhance brand visibility.

I also worked as a hostess at exclusive banquet events for high-profile clients particularly in local casinos. Some notable events I contributed to include the official David Beckham Haig Club Clubman Whiskey Launch in South Africa, the Unilever Baby Expo and the Tanqueray gin sponsored Horse races. These experiences have enhanced my confidence, refined my sales techniques and strengthened my ability to connect with consumers.

As a waitress for Pantelis Italian kitchen, I worked nightly shifts during the week and double shifts on weekends, while juggling my household responsibilities and school work. I was responsible for opening and closing the establishment and ensuring smooth daily operations. I also assisted the General Manager with scheduling and assigning weekly shift and duties for the team.
