Ariya Maan

Student at Simon Fraser University completeing my B.A. in Criminology and minor in Psychology. Aspiring future lawyer.

I have experience in both customer-facing and administrative roles. I worked in clerical operations at MAAN Transport (June 2023–April 2025), where I handled documentation, data entry, scheduling, and office coordination. I also have strong customer service experience from retail and hospitality positions, where I developed communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments. In addition, I have volunteered as a graphic designer and social media marketer for BC Children’s Hospital Youth Committee and served as a peer tutor in high school. These roles strengthened my organizational skills, professionalism, and ability to work with diverse groups of people.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology at Simon Fraser University, with a minor in Psychology. My coursework focuses on law, criminal justice systems, research methods, and legal institutions. Through my studies, I have developed strong analytical, research, and writing skills, along with an understanding of legal procedures and ethical responsibility. I am pursuing opportunities within a law firm to gain practical experience as I work toward a future career in law.
