Dana McLeod

I am a commerce student completing my bachelor's at Nipissing University. I am finishing my final semester this spring/summer and will be taking two courses. I have an advanced diploma in Business Administration, majoring in Supply Chain Management at Algonquin College. My previous positions included being a cashier and produce associate at Walmart. I have developed sales experience with handling payments, answering customer inquiries, and suggesting promotions to customers. I am passionate about helping customers find what they are looking for and assisting them. I am an organized person. I proficient in communication.

My most recent job was as a produce associate at Walmart from August 2022 to October 2023. I would stock and prepare produce based on customer demand. I would be available to assist customers with inquiries. As well as coordinating with my co-workers to delegate daily required tasks. Before that, I worked at Walmart as a cashier from June 2018 to August 2019. As a cashier, I would serve as the pleasant extension of the company, ensuring customers had a good experience. I would process payments, interact and assist the customer, and cross-sell and promote Walmart's Mastercard and protection plans. My first job was at McDonalds from April 2016 to June 2018. I started as a cashier, where I would take orders, process payments, upsell products, and recommend products or new promotions. I was cross-trained on the drive-thru and grill. Drive-thru had very similar requirements. Working grill included multitasking, time management, and following sanitary and safety protocols.

I am currently completing my bachelor's degree in commerce at Nipissing University. I am taking my final two courses that I need to graduate, this summer. I have an advanced college diploma from Algonquin College for business administration with a major in supply chain management.
