Currently serving as Business Development Manager and Lead Recruiter at Select Landscaping & Construction Inc., I have led full-cycle hiring efforts across multiple role types, created high-conversion job ads, and managed platforms like Indeed and Job Bank to optimize candidate flow. My structured, intuitive interview style and onboarding strategies have resulted in high levels of employee retention.
In 2018, I founded my first start-up GardenStyle Landscaping, where I hired and managed a successful field team. I've also spent four years as a holistic counselor, sharpening my ability to assess motivation, character, and culture fit — qualities I now bring to recruiting. With a BA in Psychology and extensive frontline experience, I’m able to blend interpersonal insight with operational execution to build strong teams from the ground up.
My degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. I've developed a strong foundation in human behavior, motivation, and mental health. My coursework included Forensic Psychology and Creative Writing, blending analytical thinking with communication skills, which is a combination that informs my intuitive, people-focused approach to recruiting and team development.
