Unit Security Supervisor

For the past six years, I've been doing administrative duties, largely filling in for my primary duty with the Canadian Armed Forces. Examples of such duties are data entry and security clearance processing, security assessments, coordinating access to restricted zones, and providing security related recommendations to management. It is my belief that I will be leaving the military either this year or next. My contract doesn't have an end date yet, but I do have most of my evenings to myself. Furthermore, I am very meticulous when I work, and I find that being behind a computer screen, like I have been for the past six years, I am very comfortable and make the most use of my skills.
The potential to work from home and the flexible hours fit my current needs. I enjoy problem-solving and become particularly focused when it comes to math. I've discovered as a military person that stress can be a really effective tool. When attention to detail is required, however, being in a comfortable setting like your home or office can be very helpful. If I start early enough before my retirement from the military, I hope to find myself already with a foot in the door of the new business that keeps me close to home.
I have spent the last 13 years serving as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. My specific trade was an Armoured Crewman, working with heavily armoured combat vehicles. From around 2017 to present I have been employed as a Unit Security Supervisor for the nit that employed me as an Armoured Crewman.
I currently hold a high school diploma.
