I have worked with non-profits and foundations for over 10 years. I am passionate about developing community and business relationships that benefit both. My experience with the Jewish community began with my photography business of over 25 years and continues today in fundraising and event hosting, strategies for change, redefining goals, and strengthening communities are at my core for fundraising and development. Endowment, development, and planned giving are built relationships with both long-term and short-term relationships based on trust, innovation, and collaboration on similar goals.
I have worked with senior, professional, and cultural communities for over 10 years. The needs of all three have some similarities but each has a defined priority for success with donors, campaigns, and contributions. Concerning outcomes, the targets differ but the marketing and communication timelines are similar. Previously, I ran a photography company for 25 years that taught me to listen to a client before marketing to them. This level of relationship building led to effective communication based on problem-solving and critical handling of the client.
Other than continuous learning with online and some in-person lectures, I completed my Project management certificate in 2018 through the U of W Pace program. This allowed me to work with the Manitoba Dental Association and Foundation each day and some nights, while continuing to take classes.
