I have just completed my fourth and final year of Film and Television Studies at the University of Glasgow, due to graduate in June of this year. I am a friendly, dedicated person who loves meeting new people and spending time with friends and family. I love music and movies, and in my spare time, I enjoy going to pub quizzes and the cinema.

My two years at Stewart Brewing were invaluable, as my time working there shaped me as a person. I gained invaluable confidence and developed strong bonds with my coworkers. I also got the opportunity to create meaningful relationships with regular customers.
This job gave me skills in customer service, bar work and barista work. Additionally, I helped organise events, seating plans, create menus, posters and social media posts. I also worked in the shop, which gave me more organisational and people skills.
As a supervisor, I developed management skills by directing my team, communicating with my manager, and handling independent work while overseeing the bar's opening and closing.

This job sharpened my skills when under pressure, as time management was key. It also gave me bar and customer service skills. I moved around all the bars across Princes Street Gardens and George Street, meaning I had to adapt quickly to new surroundings.
I had the opportunity to develop my bar skills in a very fast-paced, busy environment, which meant I learnt quickly how to make all kinds of drinks and how to deal with customers in stressful situations. I now feel capable of handling anything thrown at me.

I spent a week at the Scottish Government as part of my high school work experience. I job shadowed people from over 20 different teams, helping to create ministerial briefings and calculate financial spreadsheets, using my media and math skills. This experience gave me insight into working in a busy environment with varied roles and responsibilities.
