My most senior appointment, I was Sales and Marketing Director at GBM a $600m Systems Integrator, in the Middle East, where I managed a team of over 20 people. I managed the teams to drive revenue growth across the full spectrum of IT offerings including hardware, applications and value services to new and existing customers. In IBM I managed the relationship between IBM and its largest business partners in the UK being responsible for driving new business.
The various roles and business pressures demanded development of strong additional commercial skills including Project Management, Contract Review, Negotiating and an appreciation of IT being driven by business demands.
