Dougie Woods

I am a HR generalist with a track record of undertaking challenging Interim HR roles and delivering value. I am a strong relationship builder and have proven my ability to hit the ground running and take on any specialist of generalist HR roles. I live in Cornwall but I am very geographically mobile. I currently work in London. My current assignment is shortly due to finish.

I am currently completing the assignment as Interim Head of ER at St George's hospital in London in addition to undertaking (latterly) project work in Med Workforce. This was a challenging under performing team / turnaround situation.

Prior to this I was interim Head of ER at East & North Herts for 3 months

Before that I spent 6 months at North Bristol Trust covering a senior HRBP role for a division size 2000+ then covering for the role of Associate Director for Medical Workforce then conducting specialist projects.

Earlier I was the Transformation Programme HR Lead in North Devon for the introduction of a Electronic Patient Record system for 14 months in North Devon.

Prior to this I was the interim Corporate People Partner at Royal Cornwall Hospital and before this I was an Investigating Officer At Cornwall Foundation Partnership.

Because of the role I have applied for I have focussed on my NHS experience which covers the last 5 years. However I would add that I was also a NED for a major charity in Cornwall where I chaired the finance committee.
