Hi, I am a recent English Literature graduate from the University of St. Andrews and I am looking to start my career in the publishing or editorial industry. I am happy to be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow and I am open to volunteer and paid positions to start my career.

During my university experience I edited a student magazine called Pulp Fiction! which sought to publish all sorts of fiction. I am passionate about diversifying the type of books that are available and marketed to the public and I have a particular interest in academic books swell as fiction. I have juggled several jobs alongside my studies, and I have become a reservations supervisor for a local hotel, I hope to use the skills I have learnt to breach into this new field.

I have been the Reservations Supervisor for the Ardgowan Hotel for the last year, and as such have been given the solo responsibility for the tour bookings, which encompass 50% of all bookings. I solely organise, manage, invoice and manage the finances for these bookings as well as being the first point of contact for enquiries and complaints for the Tour Operators.
