My site work was on publicly funded contracts in Aurangabad, India: concrete roads, surface water drainage, public realm schemes and building maintenance. I worked from excavation and formation through to finished slab and handover, supervising direct labour teams and dealing with the issue that dominates public sector work, which is buried services nobody holds an accurate record of.
