I am a social and hard working individual who has a lot of drive to learn new skills and work in different areas of society. This is visible through my past work experience. Previously I have worked in the hospitality, hotel, media and finance sector.
All my previous experiences have involved me maintaining relationships with the public and interacting. For example, while working for Scottish Widows I would have to contact financial advisors to discuss the policies of clients and decide what was best for them financially. Another trend from my work experience is how varied it is. I have shown an ability to adapt to different working environments and adapt to help meet organizational goals.
At University I received a 2.1 in Sport and recreation management. A large component of this course was about how sport can be used as a means for social and economical improvement for the public. I have always been interested in basing my career around jobs where I can help the public. In 3rd year of University I completed a group project where I had to analyse a local charitable organisation which administered sport provision. I had to interview staff and find out what they were doing well and what improvements could be made to make sure there was a greater level of social integration in the community.
