Hello, I am currently employed at Sheffield Children's Hospital, working in the Emergency Department as a clerical officer. I possess excellent communication skills and am capable of handling conflict situations effectively, providing assistance to those in need. Additionally, I am skilled in time management and can perform well under pressure.
I am open to trying new roles to acquire more experience and skills. I have a strong desire to work with children, and even during my time in secondary school, I studied child development, health, and social care to expand my knowledge in this area.
I worked as a waitress for one year at Bombay Spice, where I first learned about customer service and experienced my first conflicts. I learned how to adapt to my role, communicate better, and provide the best service. I am currently employed at Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Emergency Department, where I work face-to-face with patients on a daily basis.
I assist them with check-ins and ensure they receive the right care and service. Working in this job has brought many challenges, but I have acquired the necessary skills to excel. My only struggle was the commuting distance to work, so I am now hoping to find a job closer to home to further excel in my career.
I passed all my GCSE exams with grades 4 or higher, including English, Maths, and Science. To further my education, I initially did an apprenticeship at Sheffield Children's as a customer service admin before continuing to work there outside of my apprenticeship as well.
