13 years as a teaching assistant in Prior's Mill CE Primary School, working from Level 2 up to Higher Level Teaching Assistant. My role was primarily focussed on supporting SEND and MHWB needs. I implemented and developed the English as Additional Language department which led to me gaining the School of Sanctuary Award- the first educational setting in Billingham to do so! I have led training in mental health support and specialise in attachment and trauma support.
