Present Bridge Partners (Bespoke Managed Services Provider) Outline: Service desk engineer supporting end users and their infrastructure, as well as volunteering for additional responsibilities supporting the procurement officer.
• Customer Support (i.e. gathering initial information from the clients and their requirements and expectations).
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for Unix (Macs) Linux (experience with Fedora and Ubuntu) and Windows based devices.
• Solving wide variety of networking issues that arise within managed networks as well as for end user devices with the cloud and domain networks.
• Handling backups for clients and ensuring that they are conducted, and any problems are resolved.
• Assisting the procurement officer with liaising with clients regarding their needs and creating quotes for their requests, handling domain name renewals and SSL renewals and assisting in their deployment.
• Exposure to Azure and AWS solutions for a variety of circumstances, and experience using PowerShell to automate tasks
