I am an experienced academic leader in Law with a background across Greece and Cyprus, contributing to higher education through academic leadership, programme development, and quality enhancement. My work has centred on helping shape academic direction, fostering strong educational environments, and supporting institutions in delivering provision that is both rigorous and forward-looking. I bring a leadership style defined by academic credibility, strategic perspective, and a clear commitment to standards, long-term development, and student-centred excellence.
My professional path in higher education has been defined by a growing role in shaping the direction, quality, and long-term development of legal education. From September 2021 to December 2024, I served as Programme Leader within the Law School at Metropolitan College, while also lecturing in Law from October 2021 to January 2025. My contribution there was centred on strengthening academic coherence, enhancing the professional and intellectual character of the student experience, and supporting provision that was both credible and forward-looking.
In 2022, I also contributed to the successful validation of the LLM, presenting the programme to the panel and helping secure an outcome that reinforced its academic position and future trajectory.
January 2024, I have been serving as Programme Leader within the Law School at UNICAF University. What has remained constant across these roles is a commitment not only to upholding standards, but to shaping legal education with clarity of purpose, academic confidence, and a long-term view of what strong institutions should enable their students and academic communities to become.
My academic background is grounded in Law and combines legal study, interdisciplinary postgraduate training, and ongoing doctoral research. I hold an LL.B from Bangor University, an LL.M in Criminal Justice and Human Rights from the University of Cyprus, and an MRes in Philosophy from Bangor University, while I am currently pursuing a PhD in Law at the University of Cyprus. This academic path has shaped a strong foundation in legal analysis, research, critical thought, and academic writing, while also deepening my engagement with complex questions in legal scholarship and higher education.
