- Coordinate and streamline the orientation and onboarding processes for new agency employees; collaborate with other personnel departments and agencies to ensure a seamless and positive onboarding experience.
- Review and process personnel transactions for county, city, schools, towns, and villages; interpret and apply provisions of salary plans, Civil Service rules, policies, and personnel regulations covering various contractual and policy requirements.
- Evaluate employment applications to verify qualifications; provide and contribute valuable feedback to applicants throughout the examination and hiring processes.
- Maintain and update examination and personnel records using E-gov, PeopleSoft, and other web-based NYS applications.
- Provide policy and procedural guidance to departmental support staff and county agencies.
