My passion for LEGO began to take on new meaning after I retired from the Navy in 2016. After serving for 20 years, I found it difficult to concentrate and stay mentally engaged—a challenge that became clearer after being diagnosed with ADHD. In my search for focus and peace, I rediscovered LEGO. What started as a personal outlet quickly became something much more meaningful. LEGO gave me clarity, structure, and a creative release that helped me reconnect with myself. It allowed me to focus in ways I hadn’t been able to before and brought me a sense of calm during a time of transition. That experience inspired me to share the same joy and therapeutic value with others, especially those facing physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges. LEGO helped me rebuild after military life—and now, it’s part of my purpose.
Highly motivated and skilled professional with a strong work ethic and diverse expertise. Goal-oriented military veteran with over 20 years of experience in office administration, supervision, program management, team building, and emergency response. Proficient in analyzing current operations and implementing effective information systems, strategies, and processes to enhance organizational performance.
With a Bachelor’s in Management and a Master’s in Adult Education, I bring a unique combination of strategic leadership and an understanding of how people learn and heal. My management background provides the skills needed to organize, lead, and sustain complex projects, while my education training helps me design meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences for both children and adults. This combination allows me to approach every initiative with both structure and compassion, ensuring it is impactful, inclusive, and well-executed.
