Dameca Oliver

I am a dedicated educator with 13 years of teaching experience and a strong passion for helping others learn and grow. I enjoy reading, writing, and the arts, and I bring creativity, communication skills, and a positive attitude to every environment.

I have 13 years of experience as an elementary teacher, where I have delivered standards-aligned instruction across core subjects and supported diverse learners, including ESOL, IEP, and 504 students. I collaborate closely with grade-level teams, administrators, and support staff to plan instruction, analyze student data, and implement effective interventions. I maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, communicate regularly with families, and contribute to curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to fostering student growth, building strong relationships, and promoting academic success.

I graduated from Frostburg State University with a specialization in English. I am passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and have taken on roles and responsibilities that further my learning and commitment to these values.
