About

I love the energy of a fast-paced environment and, honestly, I’m at my best when things are moving quickly. My background is a bit of a mosaic—I’ve managed busy restaurant floors, cross-trained in just about every role possible, and even worked as a CNA. What ties it all together is my genuine love for talking to people and my ability to stay completely calm and focused when the pressure is on.

I’m the kind of person who genuinely enjoys jumping into new projects, solving problems on the fly, and helping a team run like clockwork.

When I'm off the clock, I’m usually channeling my curiosity into learning everything I can about real estate, diving into agricultural topics, or working with animal fostering. I'm currently looking for a rewarding weekend role where I can put my people skills, management background, and love for dynamic environments to good use. Let’s connect if you have a project or a weekend team that needs a steady, reliable hand!

Experience

Bartender/ Server Shawn o donnells Everett

(2024-2026)

A wonderful family to work for. A fast paced more corporate environment, with multiple locations in Washington as well as Montana. I had the luxury of working in a comprehensively staffed, fast paced, and well thought out business.

Bartender/Server/Host at Twisted Cuban Cafe (2011-2024)

The Twisted Cuban Cafe is a fast paced full service restaurant and bar located in Woodinville. It offers authentic cuban food in the daylight hours, and transforms into a busy latin dance club in the evenings. I have had the opportunity to excel in the skills necessary to run the front of the house, including; bussing, serving, bartending, hosting, utilizing the system OpenTable, inventory, finances, experience and troubleshooting with the Breadcrumb POS system, and above all customer service.

Barista at The Crepe Escape (2011-08 – 2012-01)

This cafe spoke to my love of coffee, allowing me to learn the art of making espresso drinks. I received training in crafting espresso based drinks, as well as specialty drinks. I gained experience in restaurant equipment maintenance and cleaning. I had the privilege of baking and selling handmade pastries. The Crepe Escape was a great place to learn all things coffee.

Manager, NAR at Shari's Haven Adult Family Home (2011-07 – 2013-07)

Shari's Haven is a private owned adult family home, that caters to mainly the elderly affected by Dementia. I started this career as a Nurse Assistant, with the duties of; administering medication, cooking, general maintenance. I later took a manager position which educated me on some of the financial aspects of the business, as well as formatting, directing employees, and general clerical work.

Waitress/Caterer/Prep Cook at Papa's Place Restaurant and Catering (2006-08 – 2011-08)

This is an intimate family owned restaurant whose owner is a four star chef. Working at Papa's Place Restaurant has allowed me to experience all aspects of a restaurant setting. I have waited tables, catered, been a hostess, and of course my favorite part, learned to cook. It was a wonderful and educational experience.

Sales at Art & Soul Gallery (2004-09 – 2010-07)

My mom owned this art gallery, and I had the pleasure of being involved in the journey from day one. I experienced all aspects of the gallery, everything from ordering inventory, retail sales, data inputting and customer service. Art & Soul Gallery was a tremendous experience and it is a great loss to not have it today. It was a very colorful and inspirational career.

Kennel Assistant at Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital (2009-08 – 2009-01)

This particular job touched on my love of animals. I grew up with exotic animals and this was my chance to get a look into the veterinary world. My responsibilities included; cleaning and feeding animals, laundry, janitorial duties, and lots and lots of cage cleaning. This was a short term job and I enjoyed the experience.
