Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and I am licensed phlebotomy technician. Although my experience in this field is limited, I am very eager to put to practice what my training, studying and externship taught me. I am a face paced worker, as well as learner, who is looking to find a phlebotomy position where I can better my abilities and better the care of patients.
I started working when I was 16 years old, starting at a local sandwich shop in my hometown. I was a head closer which meant, learning how to do inventory, clean and sanitize according to regulations, and interact with happy and sometimes unhappy customers. Almost a year later, I switched to In-n-Out burger, where I also worked for almost another year.
I was able to promote 3 different times, training new employees, improving my speed and efficiency in resolving issues and overall, was trained to give the best customer service possible.
I went to Phlebotomy School inside my hometown, months after I graduated high-school. We practiced our pokes with each-other for weeks straight, going back even after my course was over, to get some more draws. Our instructors were two very experienced phlebotomist, who gave us their own personal tips and tricks.
