I am a recent graduate of St. John's College in Annapolis Maryland, looking to be a teacher.
I previously interned at the American Institute for Economic Research. I had several responsibilities while employed there. My main responsibility was writing and researching for a paper of my own choosing. I wrote about the efficacy of Henry George's Land Value Tax as a method of taxation. In addition to this, I attended seminars on topics like monetary policy and different schools of economic thought. I also assisted superiors in research they were doing.
I spent my undergrad at St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. I got my degree in the Liberal Arts by studying the great books of the Western Canon in subject ranging from literature and poetry to quantum mechanics and mathematics. All classes were run through Socratic discussion of what book we were reading at the time. My time at St. John's gave me the opportunity to study for a summer at Oxford University in England.
