Jayme Ortiz

My name is Jayme Ortiz and I am currently working as a scheduling coordinator for a small dentistry in California. I am looking at moving back to El Paso, TX around July 2025. I have a bachelor's degree in criminology and am hoping to get my foot in the door with law enforcement, but I also love working in the medical industry as a scheduler.

During the Covid pandemic, I worked as an operations specialist, collecting samples and prepping them for the laboratory. I am a hardworking, detail-oriented individual with a bright personality, always ensuring I give the best service I possibly can. I am an old woman at heart as my hobbies consist of crocheting, reading books, and gardening!

I currently work for a small dentistry in California where I manage patient appointments, answer phone calls, and maintain patient records. Before this job, I was working at a Walmart in El Paso, TX for a little under three years as an online personal shopper, running around the store, picking up items and placing them into organized boxes for them to be picked up and delivered. Before that, the Covid pandemic was at its peak and I worked as an operations specialist, collecting specimens through nasal swabs and prepping them for the lab.

I have a bachelor's degree in criminology that I completed in November 2024. I am hoping to use it to eventually get into doing autopsies for police.
