I am a dedicated and versatile professional with a background in both educational and retail environments. My experience in retail taught me how to communicate with clarity, solve problems on the fly, and provide top tier service to diverse groups of people, skills that carried over seamlessly into my role supporting students and educators. Whether helping a customer find the perfect solution or guiding a student through a learning task, I bring patience, adaptability, and strong attention to detail.
While I have not worked remotely yet, I am confident using tools like Google Workspace, and I am actively building my digital communication skills through online learning. I am seeking opportunities where I can contribute with the heart, grow with purpose, and bring value to a remote team through a reliable, collaborative presence.
For seven years I worked in a retail company holding several positions ranging from cashier to store manager of which I worked the last two years in said company. I transitioned to the education field via a company which specializes in servicing children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in which I trained as a Behavior Technician (BT). That BT training helped in giving the skills to work with students as a Paraprofessional in my local school district.
I graduated with an AA in Psychology in 2016 from Southwestern College. I attended a forty-hour course training as a Behavior Technician in ABS KIDS in 2024 and subsequently was hired as a Paraprofessional in SDUSD. I have completed several professional development trainings for the district ranging from co-teaching to de-escalation of behaviors among others.
