I am a junior interdisciplinary study major with a concentration in natural sciences and business. In my four years working in retail, I have advanced into leadership and learned many important skills in maintaining business operations and leading a team. I recently completed an accredited PTCB course at my college, and have a desire to begin working in healthcare as a pharmacy technician.
With a passion for science and a desire for helping others, I believe pharmacy technicians have a supportive role working alongside medical professionals for the patient’s benefit.
As a team leader, my goal is to create a positive environment for team members and customers, deliver quality service, and manage business operations. Other business skills I acquired included cash management, ordering, and inventory. Additionally, I strived to achieve the Graeter’s standard which is establishing connections with guests and creating a professional yet family-like atmosphere for guests to return to.
As a team member, I strive to ensure excellent customer service and deliver consistent, quality work as a barista and cashier. I also gained experience prioritizing tasks to maintain efficiency and quality amidst high customer volumes.
I am a junior interdisciplinary studies major at Pensacola Christian College. I recently completed an accredited pharmacy technician course at Pensacola Christian College and took the PTCE for certification on May 25th. I have a passion for science and for helping others, and have taken science courses including the following: General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I, General Biology I and II, General Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology I, Statistics, and Medical Terminology.
