Mona Lam

In a world that's divided based on issues we face (racism, sexism, etc.), I drive to become a bridge among the people within the workplace. My ultimate goal is to become an inspiration for people of all ages, demonstrating that there is strength in showing one's inner colors. I led teams of people that come from various backgrounds. It was a challenge to face many obstacles, but we were able to open doors for success and growth.

Outside of building my community, I enjoy dancing, cooking, drumming, gaming, and experiencing new hobbies. Out of all my hobbies, my main hobby is learning and I appreciate opportunities where I can expand my mindset, knowledge, or capabilities. At the end of the day, my main goal is to become a better person than I was yesterday.

I have experience working in diverse teams. I'm a Learning Ambassador at an Amazon warehouse, where I am working with new hires and handling people auditing. I am the Vice President of SHRM at my university. My role entails handling the financial transactions and working out the monetary needs of the club. In addition, I am currently the captain of my winterguard team, which entails my management skills and patience.

Currently, I'm a full-time student working toward my Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. I'm a senior and I will be graduating in December 2023.
