Hello, I have multiple years experience working with our disabled community of various ages and need levels.
Hello, Hello! I have experience in many fields but it ultimately comes down to one main connection between them. That is humans and being a part of their human experience. People of all ages and walks of life have needs from human behavior to food and sales. I take my approach to any situation with the public as individualized. The difference and the way they intersect make interactions extremely valuable.
I have worked with adults and children with learning or medical disabilities for approximately five years. While utilizing Evidence-based Practices and my extensive training in Behavioral Sciences and A.B.A. I have aided emotional or medical needs with great care and professionalism. I was responsible for understanding and implementing lessons to aid in reaching their personalized goals.
I have worked in hospitality for many restaurants and in retail. I enjoyed expanding my skills with problem-solving, maintaining a balance between professionalism, and creating a familiar environment for patrons. I have an exceptional ability to memorize a menu. I like to be knowledgeable of my establishment's expectations of service and perform my job well.
I went to school for my A.A. in philosophy, my transcript reflects my 3.7 GPA. I was on the president's list for my educational achievements. I was a single mom of 2 children under 3 while attending college. I also came from a limited background being homeschooled. However, I persevered and maintained a high GPA while excelling in domestic and parental responsibilities. My kids are older now and I would like to pivot my education to focus on aiding individuals in my community.
