I have had the opportunity to serve in both product and services companies in various roles. At Cisco, I learned the product lifecycles of routers, switches and collaboration products starting from the design, development, continuous improvements and technical support. I contributed to the product development and support of the various Cisco devices.
At Infosys and Kyndryl, I focused on sales, solution development and deployment. I have a well-rounded perspective and comprehensive understanding of the network and cloud offerings. This helped me take a vendor-agnostic approach when advising senior customer leadership on IT solutions that suit their requirements and needs.
With expertise in end-to-end solutions, I excel at orchestrating and integrating multi-vendor network products to deliver comprehensive and efficient outcomes. My goal is to optimize technology investments and ensure seamless interoperability across various platforms and solutions.
I embarked on my career journey at Cisco as a Customer Support Engineer (CSE), where I excelled in the role by delivering exceptional technical support for a range of products, meticulously diagnosing issues, providing comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical outages, and efficiently managing escalations. I also established a Technical Assistance Center at Wichita State University for Cisco. This included assisting in the onboarding and training of new team members, imparting knowledge on the latest hardware and software features.
In my role as an Engineering Manager, I took on broader responsibilities by successfully overseeing a global team of engineers responsible for testing and launching new software and hardware collaboration products, managing Cisco's production network ensuring it ran smoothly on the latest Cisco operating systems and collaboration products, skillfully handling budgeting and forecasting, facilitating team training, equipment acquisition, travel, and compensation. This included engaging in productive partnerships with multiple stakeholders, including partners, service providers, and vendors.
During my tenure at Infosys and Kyndryl as a Director, I continued to excel by leading large, diverse, and global teams in crafting multi-million-dollar proposals, incorporating expertise from various technology domains, design, implementation, delivery, legal, finance, procurement, partners, and vendors. I collaborated closely with CXOs, providing valuable insights on risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and infrastructure efficiency enhancement solutions. These roles included managing vendor relationships, including 3rd party services like staff augmentation and extended technology support agreements, as well as partner relationships with companies such as Aruba/HPE, Cisco, Palo Alto, Nokia, Fortinet, Microsoft/Azure, and AWS.
I am not only a highly accomplished CCIE in Routing and Switching but also hold certifications as an AWS Cloud Practitioner and Fortinet NSE3 certified expert. My extensive expertise and diverse skill set make me a valuable asset in the field of networking and technology solutions.
