Weston Breaux

My name is Weston Breaux and I am a passionate steward of providing guidance and leadership to those around me and navigating best practices to help students and staff be successful in their personal endeavors to have a better future. I want to continue being a lifelong learner and finding new ways to better myself along life's journeys. I am also a new author of a book. This is my 9th year in public education and enjoy seeing youth grow and thrive.

Currently, I am a middle school counselor and have been in this position for 4 years.

I taught elementary for 5 years, totaling 9 years in the field of instruction, planning, curriculum, and SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) for students in grades K-8.

I have had the opportunity to serve in 3 school districts with a variety of learning differences, which have challenged my methods over the years.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Texas Southern University in 2016 in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters degree in School Counseling from Houston Baptist University in 2020.
