I am excited to apply for the District Resource Liaison Specialist position with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

My Honours

Bachelor of Forestry from Lakehead University and my professional experience supporting natural resource management projects across Northwestern Ontario have provided me with a strong foundation in sustainable resource management, stakeholder engagement, technical communication, and collaborative problem-solving. Throughout my career with KBM Forestry Consultants, I worked closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support forest management initiatives while ensuring work was completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with environmental standards. These experiences strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, build productive relationships, analyze information, and prepare technical documentation to support informed decision-making.

I am particularly interested in this role because it combines natural resource management with meaningful relationship building and collaboration with Indigenous communities and other stakeholders. I recognize the importance of respectful engagement, listening, and working together to support sustainable resource management while fulfilling the Crown's responsibilities. I am committed to continuous learning and to developing strong, respectful partnerships built on trust and open communication.
