I completed my contract position in the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Princess Margaret Cancer Center. This role has provided me with a wealth of skills and experience in secretarial administrative assistance as I now effectively handle activities with all levels of employees, management, vendors, patients, and guests while ensuring the seamless operation of the department.
I am a reliable team member proficient in assisting all levels of executives, specifically department management in a professional office setting. I am experienced in completing and handling administrative tasks, office management, payroll administration responsibilities, scheduling activities, and exercising budgetary billings to functional cost centres. While in this role, I exercise inclusivity in my workplace to foster positive work and patient relations while adhering to UHN standards. By utilizing my secretarial talents, I have learned to confidently manage internal staff databases, coordinate business meetings, and prepare minutes. One of my accomplishments is my service-oriented work ethic and acting as the critical resource member to resolve internal staff issues such as authorizing house-maintenance calls, liaising technical support for IT issues and filling in wherever necessary.
