I am a dedicated Bachelor of Science graduate who has recently obtained the CompTIA
Network+ and CompTIA A+ certifications. Currently I am aiming to transition from my field of Geology and seeking a full-time role in Information Technology to make use of my years of experience in customer service and technology-related roles. Additionally, I have also completed the Google IT Support Professional Certificate, an intensive IT support program that covers troubleshooting, customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration, and security, and includes evaluative hands-on assessments.
My professional experience has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset. As a Geologic Operator at GeologicAI, I worked with advanced imaging equipment and collaborated with a team to troubleshoot technical software-related issues using Microsoft RDP/RDS.
Setting up Home Labs with Domain Controllers and Active Directory has enabled me to develop a strong foundation in key IT skills, making me well-equipped to make DNS, DHCP, and NAT server configurations and assist users with a wide range of technical concerns. I also have plenty of experience working with and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 products through my work tenures and personal life. Additionally I have experience with building PCs and performing various upgrades on laptops so I am extremely familiar with most hardware components.
My responsibilities at Lowe's and Marshall's as a cashier and customer service representative required me to handle transactions and address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism in a timely manner. These roles have honed my ability to communicate effectively with diverse users, understand their needs, and provide timely and effective solutions.
