My name is Derek Brown and I have a strong background in logistics, delivery driving, customer service, and professional athletics. I am a former Division 1 basketball player and have also played professional basketball both in the United States and internationally. Most recently, I worked as a delivery driver for GOFO and SpeedX, where I managed high-volume delivery routes, completed time-sensitive deliveries, organized packages efficiently, and maintained strong work performance in fast-paced environments. I’m experienced driving long routes throughout the Seattle/Tacoma and surrounding areas and understand the importance of reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
I’m now looking to transition my logistics and delivery experience into the medical courier field where I can continue growing with a company that values dependability, organization, and strong work ethic. In addition to delivery experience, I have a professional athletic background as a former Division 1 basketball player who also played professionally overseas and within the United States. I attended Portland State University as a Division 1 student-athlete while playing basketball and continued my professional basketball career both domestically and internationally. My education and athletic experience helped me develop strong communication skills, discipline, leadership, teamwork, and the ability to stay organized and perform in high-pressure environments.
